Pork Choila or Kauli Hariyo Kerau (Cauliflower and peas)
Choila is a typical Newari dish and considered a necessary part of any festival. It has developed over centuries among the Newar people living in the Kathmandu valley, rich with spices. This version includes diced pork, marinated and oven roasted charbroiled in Nepali spices and herbs.
Meat: Pork, soy sauce, mustard, oil, fenugreek and spices
Kauli Hariyo Kerau. This authentic Nepalese dish is a vegetarians dream. Made with fresh cauliflower, and green peas sauteed with green onions and house spices, it is a tasty reminder of a simpler time.
