Mansaf with Chicken or Kibbeh Ya'tin

Meat: Mansaf with Chicken

This staple Lebanese dish is sour, sweet, fragrant and meaty all at the same time. With meat falling off the bone, the textures of the soft meat, fluffy rice, crunchy nuts, crisp onions and silky sauce are the perfect combination.

Ingredients: Halal organic chicken, long grain rice, minced halal beef, oil, salt, spices, and gravy (flour, butter, spices, and salt)

Veggie: Kibbeh Ya'tin (Pumpkin)

Kibbeh, the national dish of Lebanon contains essential "seven spices" (baharat).  Kibbeh can be eaten raw (kibbeh naye). It is extremely popular in Lebanon. Another common form is kibbeh qrass, whereby the kibbeh mixture is molded into small, hollowed balls, stuffed with filling and then fried. 

Ingredients: pumpkin, onion, garlic, cilantro, bulgur, spinach, chickpeas, sumac, walnuts, pomegranate molasses, black pepper, nutmeg, and lemon juice
