Chicken (Meat) or Paneer (Veggie) Makhani with Basmati rice
One of the most popular Indian dishes globally, Murgh Makhani or Butter Chicken, was invented in the 50's by accident in Delhi. It combined tandoori chicken with leftover tomato and cream sauce for a wonderfully velvety texture and a taste to die for. Over time the chicken and sauce recipes have varied, but the amazing taste lingers.
