Koji - Onigilly


After arriving in the US from Japan in 2006, Koji was surprised by two things. One was the fact that while there was a lot of sushi in the US, Rice balls, were far and few in between. The other was that children's lunches were not very nutritious.

Immediately he set to work and founded Onigilly in 2007, with the mission of bringing Onigiri to American diet and helping to make it healthier.
