Guadalupe Moreno - Mi Morena

Originally from Mexico D.F., she comes from a large family of 10 brothers and sisters. Lupe was the youngest, this meant that she was always looked after and loved. Working with food has always been her passion, she learned how to cook from her mother. She credits her with giving her the “Sazon” (seasoning) that makes her food what it is.

Guadalupe immigrated to San Francisco in 2001 with her husband Alberto and only daughter at the time Cyntia. Now she also has two lovely boys — Josealberto & Kevin. Together they created what now is Mi Morena, a family oriented business that allows them to pursue the American Dream.
